– We are proud of our performed machine and pipe assembly work at the new sewage treatment plant in Nogersund, says Lars Olsson, project manager at the Industrial Piping department at Jernbro Industrial Services AB.

It’s Sölvesborgs Energi & Vatten AB that is building, to be able to connect more sewers to municipal treatment. Veolia Water Technologies AB is Jernbro’s client in the project.

Lars Olsson continues:
– Since January 2020, we have been working on the first of two treatment lines. In our part of the assignment, we have been able to utilize our expertise in installations of pipes and mechanical equipment, mechanical assembly of pumps as well as pipe welding. We are also involved in stage two, which runs until the beginning of 2022.

– We have done a number of sewage treatment plant assignments together with Jernbro, so we have good confidence in their knowledge. The collaboration is characterized by trust, flexibility and a high focus on quality. Jernbro’s staff are fantastic at what they do, says Adis Dzafic, COO Municipal at Veolia Water Technologies.

In February 2021, Sölvesborgs Energi will start up line one and then demolish the old treatment plant, which through the arrangement in two stages has been able to be in operation during stage one. On the site of the old treatment plant, the second treatment line will be built, which will be started up in 2022. The new sewage treatment plant will have a new biological treatment and also nitrogen treatment. A large number of existing and new individual sewers will be drawn from households and industries.

The collaboration is characterized by trust, flexibility and a high focus on quality.
