We have recently agreed with Reppu Svets & Montage AB (Reppu) that they will become a part of Jernbro. The agreement means that we will  increase our local presence and expertise in industrial maintenance and projects in Skåne.

− The purpose of the deal is to strengthen our operations in southern Sweden. The acquisition also means that we will have a local connection in Trelleborg in addition to our existing facilities in Helsingborg and Malmö, where Reppu also has operations. Reppu’s employees have a high level of competence and this will greatly contribute to Jernbro’s growth, says Daniel Backman, COO at Jernbro.

− It will be great to be part of Jernbro, which has a wider range, as well as a wider market. Taking place in a larger industry-focused company will be exciting, says Sami Järvenpää, CEO of Reppu.

Jernbro values the experience that Reppu has in pipe and aluminum welding and that it, together with other competencies in construction forging, industrial pipes, mechanical maintenance and design, will be a very good complement to its existing operations.

Approximately 30 employees at Reppu have been offered employment at Jernbro.

− The staff is positive to the agreement and I believe that Jernbro, with its built-up support functions and through its many years of experience, will give the staff a satisfactory employment security, Sami continues.
