Jernbro Jernbro has a strong focus on growth and an ambitious goal for the next few years. The best chance of achieving the growth targets is to invest in the core business, which represents over 90% of total sales. One step in streamlining the offering in industrial maintenance and energy efficiency is to sell the part of the business that develops AGV concepts (Automated Guided Vehicles) .

– The AGV business deserves a more specialized owner who wants to invest in continued development and growth. At the same time, the sale means that Jernbro releases capital that contributes to our ambitious goals in industrial maintenance and energy efficiency, says Mikael Jansson, Jernbro’s CEO.

– Jernbro’s AGV business is a well-run business with premium products in a growing market that requires flexible and smart solutions. This will create new opportunities for us, to act both together and separately. Through the acquisition, we strengthen our range of services and create the best possible customer value, says Jonas Kjellberg, CEO of Elektroautomatik.

The agreement took place July 9 and the take-over is scheduled for October 1, 2021.
