IMI Hydronics Engineering and several other companies have given the department for Component Servicing (electronics, electric motor and spindle service) high ratings in Jernbro’s customer survey. The customers have given an NPS (Net Promoter Score) of 88 out of 100, which shows that the customer loyalty is very high. The CSI figure (Customer Satisfaction Index) is also high for the department, which is 86 out of 100.

− We have worked closely with Jernbro for many years and we are very satisfied with the fine collaboration we have. All the staff at Component Servicing really give 110% when we have a need. In addition, they are nice and polite and respond quickly, which I think is important, Richard Lundgren says, who is responsible for the purchase of spare parts, service and emergency repairs for the producing machines at IMI Hydronic Engineering.

Richard further explains that he thinks Component Servicing has a large and complete offer and a high level of knowledge. He also appreciates Jernbro’s wide contact network, from which Jernbro has the opportunity to buy spare parts from for their machines that manufacture products for plumbing systems.

− At Component Servicing, we work with both preventive and emergency repairs of components, whose manufacturers have closed down their own aftermarket. This is important for customers, so they can keep their factories running. We fulfill an important function as an independent repairer of electronics, spindles and electric motors. The dialogue we have with our customers about how their machine park is to be secured for a long time to come, is extremely important, says Mats Ahrling, business developer at Jernbro.

− We have a very positive image of Jernbro and we get help on several levels. It’s everything from tips to emergency repairs. The biggest part, however, is preventive maintenance that we carry out to raise the status of our machinery. For example, we regularly send servo motors to Jernbro, who refurbish, buy spare parts, assemble and perform function checks. When we get them back, we replace the motors in the machines and send a new batch of servo motors to Jernbro, Richard says.

− Component Servicing also provides us with new parts, such as electric motors, steering servos, servo drives, electronic components and control boards. When needed, we have also hired staff for many years. Jernbro really turns and twists their resources, so they should be greatly commended for that, as well. When a machine breaks, crashes, has a breakdown or downtime, we also buy cutting-edge expertise to investigate what is wrong with it, continues Richard.

Richard tells us that they sometimes need help with urgent repairs. Most recently, for example, it was a control board for a machine that had trouble. When it occurs, there is often a rush to get it repaired, to avoid a machine being idle for too long and customer orders being affected. Then it happens that the component is sent by taxi to Jernbro with hope that it will return the same afternoon or evening, so the machine can start spinning again.

− The fact that we at Component Servicing are appreciated by IMI Hydronic is especially noticeable when we sometimes need to help them with urgent repairs so that a machine can start running again, so they can complete their deliveries, says Mats.

− Jernbro really always does everything they can to get our machines up and running again as quickly as possible in case of urgent problems, Richard concludes.
