Jernbro Industrial Services AB is strengthening its presence and capacity in Gällivare through the acquisition of Minecon Sweden AB. In 2022, Jernbro acquired GISAB (Gällivare Industriservice AB) with establishments in Gällivare, Luleå, Kiruna and Skellefteå as well as JF Mek in Kiruna.
– The acquisition means, above all, a strengthening of local presence and capacity in Gällivare. By this, we can contribute to our customers’ competitiveness to a greater extent. It also serves our purpose to be actively involved in the green transformation of the industry in Norrbotten, says Mikael Jansson, CEO and acting head of Region North within Jernbro.
– Jernbro and Minecon have had a close collaboration in recent years. For Minecon, this is a natural step to take and become part of our local organization, says Jenny Knekta, Head of Department at Jernbro in Gällivare.

Minecon Sweden AB offers service, maintenance and projects to customers in mining and other industries. The company has a turnover of approximately SEK 14 million and has 10 employees.
