The demand for competence in electric power is increasing and Jernbro is therefore investing in creating an Electric Power Group.
The aim is to offer electricity services to customers in Avesta’s immediate area.
− The electrical installation company Tvåman El AB has over 20 years of experience and will be a good supplement to the Electrical Power Group we are about to build up here in Avesta. As Jernbro, Jan Rydén and Mika Leijonberg at Tvåman El value maintaining a high level of service and having a close collaboration with customers, says Timo Nordfelt, Head of Department for Electricity and Automation at Jernbro in Avesta.
Jernbro has collaborated with Jan and Mika for many years, for instance with customer assignments within mining and steel industry.
− Jan and I wanted to be part of Jernbro’s investment. It will be rewarding and interesting to contribute in the development of Jernbro’s Electrical Power Group, especially given the pent-up need for power expertise in the area, says Mika Leijonberg.

The idea is to start up the Electrical Power Group April 1 with the electric power technician Ola Mattiasson at Jernbro as supervisor. The group must also train existing personnel in electricity to gear up the business.
− The Electrical Power Group will, for example, offer preventive maintenance, such as transformer service, thermography and patrolling. Within remedial maintenance, we will help the customers with transformer changes, cable joints and cable terminations etc. We will also assist with planned maintenance such as electrical installation, switchgear replacement, project management, revision of documents and much more, Timo concludes.
