The agreement runs for three years with an option to renew. The agreement began on March 1, 2016.

SSAB is a Nordic- and US-based steel company. The company is a leading global manufacturer of advanced high strength and hardened steel, standardized sheet metal and coarse sheet, pipe products and design solutions in the construction sector. The company has an annual steel production capacity of 8.8 million tonnes. Today, SSAB has production facilities in Sweden, Finland and the United States.

According to the new framework agreement, Jernbro will perform mechanical maintenance at SSAB in Borlänge.
