Jernbro’s electricians deliver quality

− It was a challenge to become a Group Manager. But I feel that I have grown well into the role and I enjoy personnel responsibility and distributing customer assignments. The most enjoyable thing is meeting customers and being among my employees and see what they are working on.

− Together with the other electrical group in Avesta, we are a tight group consisting of 35 people with roles such as electricians, project managers and managers, and we are proud to have good cohesion. We also have good teamwork with our customers. It contributes to making it fun going to work. In addition, Jernbro is constantly developing, which makes the work challenging and varied. The fact that we are located in several locations and that customers want help in other countries opens up opportunities for our employees to work in other places than in and around Avesta.

The department has several different customers of varying sizes whom they help with most things within electricity. Above all, it is industrial work such as new installations of machines, replacement of switchgear and control systems and improvement work, but also preventive and remedial maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment. The assignments are mainly in the form of projects that last for a longer period of time.

− Right now, we are working full time with maintenance stops at several major customers and in a recently completed large project we have pulled out 2,500 cables. So the work is really varied and therefore we welcome experienced applicants to current vacancies, who appreciates that.

For the department, it is also important to actively work on developing the delivery and the customer relationship. That is why Michael and other colleagues are proud and happy that customers often say “When Jernbro comes, we get quality”. Michael says that the customers also appreciate that they pass on detected errors and suggest improvement measures.
