PMI – Material Verification and Alloy ControlIn operations with high demands on safety, traceability, and quality, a material certificate is not always sufficient. With PMI, Positive Material Identification, the actual alloy in the material can be verified quickly and non-destructively. This provides an extra layer of quality assurance before the component is delivered, installed, or put into operation.Learn more about PMI

Flexible execution within a critical shutdown windowCrossbridge Refinery in Fredericia carried out TA26, with Jernbro as contractor for a planned shutdown. The scope included work on 52 heat exchangers, 27 air coolers and 52 vessels, as well as replacement of selected components in the plant, while other contractors simultaneously carried out maintenance and modernisation projects. The shutdown lasted three weeks and was completed with 76 Jernbro personnel, divided between management and seven crews.Read more about the case

The indispensable metal – and the partnership building the next phaseCopper is rarely seen. But without it, industry stops. Among other things, it carries electricity in our grids, powers machines in factories, and is a prerequisite for electrification. At the same time, supply is very limited – and demand is growing rapidly. It is in this context that Viscaria plays a crucial role.Read more about the case

Noise reduction at more than 60 metres’ heightTo reduce noise from the chimney at the power plant in Kyndby, noise-reduction panels had to be installed inside the flue gas duct. The task included manufacturing special profiles and steel structures, followed by installation at more than 60 metres’ height on the boiler building, where access conditions and lifting required thorough planning.Read more about the case

Plant back in operationWhen energy must be produced, security of supply is essential – even when the boiler fails just before Christmas in Denmark. During periods of high load, there is no room for prolonged shutdowns, and a failure of key components can have a direct impact on both production and supply. This places demands on rapid mobilization, technical oversight, and safe execution from day one.Read more about the case
