From food waste to biogas at Marieholm

In the first episode, Jonas visits Renova’s facility in Marieholm, Gothenburg, where food waste is pre-treated into slurry – an important raw material for producing biogas and biofertilizer.

Together with George from Renova and Simon from Jernbro, we follow the process and learn more about the extensive modernization Jernbro is carrying out.

The goal is a more reliable facility, better resource recovery, and less waste going to incineration.
