Jernbro strengthens its capacity through the acqusition of Nordmec

Jernbro has acquired Nordmec i Malmfälten AB, based in Luleå, thereby strengthening its position in Norrbotten. The addition gives Jernbro increased capacity and more expertise and means that the needs of customers in industry and critical social infrastructure can be met to a greater extent. From February 1, Nordmec will become part of Jernbro.

− By Nordmec becoming part of Jernbro, it will be possible to offer a broader range of services to both Jernbro’s and Nordmec’s customers. Our operations and competencies complement each other in an excellent way, says Mikael Jansson, Business Area Manager for Projects and Maintenance North at Jernbro.

Nordmec’s former owners, Johan Gustafsson and Stefan Lindström, are optimistic about the future under Jernbro’s leadership:
– Becoming part of Jernbro gives us the strength to continue growing and developing towards new goals, which can be a challenge for smaller companies.

Both Johan and Stefan will continue in senior positions within Jernbro in Luleå and look forward to contributing to the group’s work in the Scandinavian market.

Nordmec i Malmfälten AB has a turnover of approximately SEK 35 million and has 20 employees. The company offers engineering services, manufacturing of welded steel structures as well as project and field service within mechanics. Customers are mainly found in the industry and construction sector.
