Jernbro strengthens its organization in Denmark and Norway
Jernbro is making changes to the leadership of our operations in Denmark and Norway. The purpose is to reinforce our presence in the Scandinavian market and ensure that we can continue to support a thriving Scandinavian industry – built on stability, quality, and strong local presence.
New Managing Director of Jernbro Denmark
The new Managing Director of Jernbro Denmark will be Joachim Christensen, assuming the role on 1 December 2025. Joachim joins from Alfa Laval, where he has held several senior positions – including Head of Service Division Nordic and, most recently, Managing Director of Alfa Laval Nordic A/S. He brings a strong industrial background and extensive experience in leading service and business development organisations.
“I look forward to continuing the development of our business in Denmark together with our customers and colleagues. Jernbro has a strong position, and we see significant opportunities for growth – both in existing and new segments. Going forward, we will focus on strengthening the business, expanding our customer base, and meeting the needs of the industry with high quality and reliable deliveries.” says Joachim Christensen.

New Managing Director of Jernbro Norway
For Jernbro Norway, Daniel Merum, Group Business Development Director, will take on the role of Managing Director. Daniel has for many years been closely involved in the development of Jernbro’s operations in Norway and has strong insight into both the market and regional industrial customers – particularly in Mongstad and across Western Norway.
“The Norwegian team has strong drive and high competence. We see significant growth potential in the region and will continue developing the business in line with industrial developments and the market needs shaping the future.” says Daniel Merum.

“These changes strengthen our ability to drive growth and further develop our position in the Scandinavian market. Joachim and Daniel have the experience and understanding needed to advance our business, and we are pleased that they are stepping into these roles within Jernbro.” says Daniel Backman, Group CEO of Jernbro.
