Linde expands CO₂ plant with Jernbro’s industrial piping expertise
When Linde expanded its plant in Norrköping to increase capacity for cleaning and cooling carbon dioxide, Jernbro was chosen to deliver and install the new industrial pipe systems, a complex and time-sensitive project.

Challenge
Linde’s plant expansion required an extensive cooling water system with large, heavy pipes connected to four new cooling towers. The installation was complex and had to be completed within a strict two-week production stop. The work also took place in tight spaces and under demanding quality and safety requirements.

Solution
Jernbro manufactured pipe supports, welded and corrosion-protected the structures, and installed both stainless and black steel pipes according to Linde’s construction drawings.
The team coordinated all crane lifting and ensured full quality control through self-inspections and third-party NDT testing.
– We chose Jernbro for their right skills, reliability, and price and they delivered exactly as promised, says Martin Welin Berger, Project Manager at Linde.

Results
Jernbro completed the project on schedule, which allowed Linde to increase its gas production capacity without delay. The collaboration ran smoothly and led to additional assignments for Jernbro – a sign of mutual trust and satisfaction.
– I’m proud of our team for handling such a demanding installation in tight spaces. It took solid planning and strong cooperation, says Emil Svensson, Project Manager at Jernbro.
