Increased focus in water and wastewater – Simon Sandegren new Water & Wastewater Lead

Jernbro is strengthening its investment in water and wastewater by recruiting Simon Sandegren to the role of Water Wastewater Lead. This initiative is part of the company’s strategic development and ambition to take a clearer role in the implementation of future water and wastewater projects.

Simon has worked in the water and wastewater sector since 2012 and has experience from the entire value chain – from investigation and planning to implementation, business, and management. He most recently held roles as project manager, project leader, and business developer within water and wastewater contracts.

– Jernbro has established itself as a player capable of handling qualified installations in water and wastewater facilities. The opportunity to be involved in further developing the offering and working methods within water and wastewater was a decisive factor for me, says Simon Sandegren.
In his role as Water Wastewater Lead, Simon will work to further develop Jernbro’s existing business in the area, structure the offering, and create the conditions to take on more and larger water and wastewater projects in more regions.

Sweden faces extensive investment needs in water and wastewater, driven by aging infrastructure, climate change, and increased demands on the environment and operational reliability. Jernbro sees a clear opportunity here to contribute with its expertise in industrial working methods and qualified installation.

– Water and wastewater (VA) is a clear focus area for us moving forward. With our unique expertise in assembly, mechanics, and industrial working methods, we have a good foundation to take a stronger position in the implementation of complex VA projects , says Dan Carlgrip, Head of Operations Sweden at Jernbro.

– Advanced assembly is often a bottleneck in VA projects. With the right expertise and an industrial working method, we can contribute to more predictable projects and facilities that function better over time, says Simon Sandegren.

The investment in water and wastewater is part of Jernbro’s long-term strategy and ambition to be a strong partner to municipalities, industry, and contractors in the expansion and modernization of socially critical infrastructure.
