Jämtkraft strengthens the district heating system for the future
Jernbro has successfully completed extensive pipe installation work for the energy company Jämtkraft in connection with the construction of the new combined heat and power plant in Östersund. The project is part of Jämtkraft’s commitment to future-proofing a stable supply of district heating.
Challenge
When Jämtkraft built its new combined heat and power plant in Östersund, they needed a reliable partner to install the extensive district heating system. In addition, the team applied strong expertise, careful planning, and precision to carry out the installation in a compact building, while coordinating with several suppliers working on site at the same time.
Solution
Jernbro was chosen thanks to its solid experience and ability to offer pipe prefabrication. The project began with prefabrication in Jernbro’s workshop in Finspång, followed by an intensive installation phase in Östersund. Jernbro received flawless drawings from the customer. With careful planning and close cooperation, the fitters and welders were able to complete the installation efficiently. They also achieved a high level of precision.

Results
The team completed the project and passed the final inspection successfully. Jernbro’s flexibility, strong expertise, and close dialogue with Jämtkraft contributed to a smooth collaboration and an excellent result.
