Jernbro’s Automation unit will participate in the large international trade fair Hannover Messe 2019 in Germany, April 1-5. At the fair, an AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle), will be showcased as part of a flexible system for assembly and logistics applications.
“Over the years, we have delivered more than a thousand AGVs globally, primarily to the automotive industry, and hope that we will create a broader interest from more industries and markets,” says Pär Knutsson, Sales Manager Automation at Jernbro Industrial Services AB.
At the Hannover Fair in Germany, Jernbro will be participating at the Sweden Co-Lab Pavilion together with Ericsson, ABB, HMS, Sick, Robotdalen, Mycronic and ÅF. The exhibitors have together created equipment where a Jernbro AGV model TC80 is fitted with an ABB YuMi robot. Exhibition visitors can interact with the equipment and test guiding the Jernbro AGV to different stations.
Jernbro began to develop and deliver AGV systems as early as the 1990s. Today there are several versions for different applications, both for assembly and transport solutions.
“The great advantage of an AGV system is the flexibility it offers. The system can easily be extended with more AGV units in line with customer needs,” says Pär Knutsson, Sales Manager Automation at Jernbro.
“By presenting our AGV at the Hannover Fair in an environment with other future technology, we hope to gain several interesting contacts from new industries and markets,” concludes Pär Knutsson.
Sweden Co-Lab Pavilion with Jernbro’s AGV is located in hall 27, booth H30, at the Hannover Fair 2019.
