April 1, Jernbro Industrial Services AB acquired the operation within the company Värme- och Kraftservice AB (Voksab) in Malmö. Through this acquisition, Jernbro strengthens its position in the south of Sweden.
– Local presence is an important part of Jernbro’s growth strategy, says Mikael Jansson, CEO at Jernbro. This is the third acquisition we make in a few months, which follows acquisitions in similar businesses in Avesta and Skövde.

Since earlier, Jernbro is established in this region in Helsingborg and Åhus with operations in maintenance and service. Jernbro has also been operating in Malmö for some years with outsourced maintenance staff at customers. Through the deal, all eleven employees at Voksab will move to Jernbro.

– This business deal gives us access to our own workshop in Malmö and an increased capacity with experienced, knowledgeable maintenance mechanics, says Martin Berntsson, COO and Regional Manager South at Jernbro.
– Voksabs existing customers will have access to a wider range of services through Jernbro. The acquisition has given us significantly better conditions for growth in Region South with both existing and new customers, Martin Berntsson concludes.
