According to the site agreement, Jernbro will deliver and develop production maintenance starting January 2018 and three years ahead, with a focus on increased operational reliability for Lantmännen Lantbruk’s units in Falkenberg, Åhus, Helsingborg, Eslöv, Malmö, Alstad and Klagstorp. In connection with the transition, former employees in Lantmännen Lantbruk’s local maintenance organisation will be offered employment at Jernbro.

The site agreement is the third in order since Lantmännen Lantbruk signed a frame agreement in April 2017 with Jernbro Industrial Services AB, enabling Jernbro to deliver and develop production maintenance to increase operational reliability in around 30 plants in Sweden.

“Our strength lies in our maintenance concept and our geographical coverage, enabling us to support Lantmännen Lantbruk in their ambition to increase operational reliability in their production plants through uniform maintenance processes. It is gratifying that we are now continuing our journey to southern Sweden,” says Bengt Håkansson, CEO at Jernbro.

Lantmännen is one of the Nordic region’s largest food, machinery, energy and agricultural groups. The group is owned by 25,000 Swedish farmers, operates in some 20 countries, has more than 10,000 employees and has a turnover of SEK 37 billion. Lantmännen’s core business is found in the agricultural sector, which develops and markets products and services for strong and competitive farming.
